Industry Experience: 12+ years of software quality assurance experience validating production-level embedded and networking software products with at least 6 years in a SQA leadership role.. The qualified candidate will have strong knowledge of networking protocols and products, QA methodologies and processes. Should have very good people management and project management skills with good leadership qualities and motivational skills to lead and build SQA team.
Domain Knowledge : Processor architectures, Networking protocols, Software Architecture and design, Networking protocols, network applications, validation and testing of network products/software, Network Processors (NP) and systems built using NP's. Apart from networking products like switches/routers/MSAD, knowledge of NAS products is an added advantage.
Required Skills (one or more): Project management, managing multiple projects, good network product and technological knowledge, in-depth knowledge of network protocols and network application development, knowledge of QA methodologies and QA tools. Excellent communication skills oral and written. Should demonstrate skills in people management as well as in leading and growing SW QA team.
Experience in managing a team of QA and Validation engineers in the Networking domain is a must for this position.

The major responsibilities are to:
Develop and execute the vision, roadmaps and project execution strategy. This includes building a highly competent technical team and providing the appropriate infrastructure, tools and processes that will create an environment of success.
He/She must encourage creativity while ensuring a commercial and customer focus.
Proactively lead the team in identifying customer insights and technological innovations and integrate these to deliver customer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting project milestones and customer commitments. Projects must be kept on track, on time and on budget.
Being a member of the local Senior Leadership Team (SLT), need to work collaboratively with the other members of SLT to define the company strategy and develop customer relationships.
